Gospel Means Good News!

Did you know that
Jesus Christ is the Son of God (fully man fully God) who came to earth to die
on the cross for your sins and mine? Because
of man’s sinfulness, Christ was punished and put to death on the cross, then
rose again to defeat death and gain eternal life for those who will seek after
Him. The Bible says, "all have sinned and fall short of the
glory of God" (Romans 3:23). It also says, Everything
is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give
account." (Hebrews 4:13).
God sees all your sin
as though it just happened and one day you must give an account of your life to
Him. If your sin is not dealt with before this day, then you will face death
(hell), "the wages of sin is death" (Romans 6:23)
In His love, God has made a way for you to be forgiven and come to Him.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that
whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).
God sent Jesus to die in man's place; to take the punishment you deserve
so that you can be saved from your sins. The Bible says that, "we
have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ" (Romans 5:1).
Jesus said “repent lest you perish”
(Luke 13:3)
To make peace with God, be willing to admit/turn away from
all sin (repent), and come to Jesus as your Lord and Savior, confess your sins
and ask Him to forgive you. "That if you confess with your mouth,
'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead,
you will be saved. (Romans 10:9-10). He will forgive
you of your past sins and become part of your life to give you power to live a
new holy life, one that is pleasing to God. The same way that Jesus died and
rose from the dead, you too must die to your old sinful ways and rise to new
life in Him. Born again (John 3:3) means you are born of the spirit to help you
to walk in holiness in a new life. "if anyone is in Christ, he is a
new creation; the old has gone, the new has come."

Corinthians 5:17).
Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). Religion will not get you to heaven nor can you work your way there by doing good things. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God -- not by works, so that no one can boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9).

God has done all He can to redeem you. Will you seek the
gift of eternal life that Jesus paid for on the cross? Just before He died,
Jesus said: "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay
down his life for his friends" (John 15:13). Jesus
said eternal life is a narrow road
and few find it (Matthew 7)
Are you on that road?
Those truly in Christ are changed people who live holy (1
Peter 1:15) and no longer conform to this fallen worlds ways. They avoid
partaking of the carnal (sinful) culture but they will proclaim the gospel into
it and call others out. And do not be conformed to this
world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind (Romans
12:2) & Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone
loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
(1 John
2:15)
Knowing Christ is
about seeking and serving Him in truth, holiness/obedience by God’s Word (the
bible) not practicing man made religion or relying on good works.
And
being made perfect, He became the author of eternal salvation unto all them
that obey Him (Hebrews 5:9)

redeem those who are His (Hebrews 9) and the rest will be judged. (2 Thessalonians 1:8)
